How Are You Using Social Media for Recruiting?
I was amazed by the statistics in the following video. I hope you enjoy it. So am I safe to say that social media is here for the long haul? I feel pretty confident that it is. What about for recruiting?
So how are you using social media to find new employees? Or how are you using social media so that future employees can find you? Does your company have a Facebook page? Has it been updated? Does it describe your company in detail and tell candiidates why they should consider working for your company? Do you use Facebook, YouTube and Twitter to annouce available positions and to drive candidates to your website for more information? Do you search LinkedIn, Twitter and Facebook for potential candidates?
I would like to hear your opinions on social media in recruiting. Is it the future? Have you embraced it? Do you hate it? Are you old school and still not on the social media bandwagon? Let me know what you think.
